Questions

The questions we hear most

Not here? Write to us and we will answer in plain words.

What does a first call cost?

Nothing. It is twenty minutes, and it does not make you a client. We use it to say which package fits.

Are the fees really flat?

The packages on the practice pages are. Court filing fees, recording fees and title charges are paid at cost and listed on the quote before you agree.

Do you meet at my home?

Yes, inside The Villages and nearby. You can also meet at our office or by video.

Our children live in other states. Can they take part?

Yes. They can join any meeting by video, and each child you name gets a copy of the folder.

How long does a plan take?

We tell you after the first call. It depends mostly on how fast the family can answer our questions.

What happens if I never sign?

Nothing is binding until you sign. You pay for the work done up to that point, as the quote said.

Can you help with a trust someone else wrote?

Yes. The paper review looks at it and tells you what still works.

Do you handle guardianship?

Yes, through Merrill. A guardianship is a court case, so it is quoted separately in writing.

Will you represent me in a family dispute over an estate?

We help trustees and executors do the job. If a case becomes a contested lawsuit between relatives, we will say so and refer you to a litigator.
